Suan Dusit University Receives the 2025 Outstanding Savings Promotion Support Award

On 3 November 2025, Suan Dusit University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitauk Chancharoen, President of the University, received the award for “Outstanding Savings Promotion in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI)” from the National Savings Fund (NSF). The award ceremony took place at Raktakanit Building, Suan Dusit University, Bangkok, in celebration of National Savings Day 2025.

The award was presented to honor institutions with outstanding performance in promoting savings among students participating in the Student Loan Fund (SLF) program, as well as supporting initiatives that encourage financial discipline and continuous, sustainable saving habits among university students.

Suan Dusit University was selected based on its implementation of the “SDU Learn to Earn: Four Powers for the Future” project, which aims to develop students holistically by cultivating the spirit of “giving,” strengthening their understanding of “saving,” enhancing “skills training” through experiential learning, and fostering readiness for future careers through “working.” Creative activities served as key mechanisms to nurture responsibility toward oneself and society.

On this occasion, Ms. Laphatrasa Srithian, Director of the Marketing Planning and Savings Promotion Division of the National Savings Fund, graciously served as the presenter of the award to Suan Dusit University.

Receiving this award marked another milestone of pride for Suan Dusit University as an institution committed to nurturing students to become a new generation of responsible citizens who are “skilled, virtuous, and financially disciplined” and prepared to grow with stability and confidence in the future.
