Suan Dusit University researchers join the inventor’s day forum after securing the Global Innovation Excellence Award at KIDE 2025

The Institute for Research and Development, Suan Dusit University, led two of the university’s faculty researchers—Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinat Sukonket and Dr. Rangsan Jomtarak from the Faculty of Science and Technology—to participate in a panel discussion titled From Idea to Innovation: When AI Transforms Ideas into the Inventions of the Future at Inventors’ Day, organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

This panel discussion was held following the achievement of the Global Innovation Excellence Award at the Kaohsiung International Invention & Design EXPO (KIDE 2025) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The event took place on January 6, 2026, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok.

The session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Sanong Ekgasit and featured five distinguished panelists:

1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinat Sukonket, Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Dusit University

2. Dr. Rangsan Jomtarak, Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Dusit University

3. Prof. Dr. Jintavee Khlaisang, Department of Educational Technology and Communications, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University

4. Asst. Prof. Dr. Direk Sueaseenak, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Srinakharinwirot University

5. Dr. Sakayong Pattanavekin, Founder of Wekin (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

The event underscored and reaffirmed the role and potential of Suan Dusit University in advancing research excellence and translating research outcomes into tangible applications at both national and international levels.
