Suan Dusit University Signs Academic, Research, and Cultural Exchange Agreements with Two Indian Universities

On 29 November 2025, Suan Dusit University held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with two educational institutions from the state of Manipur, India—Dhanamanjuri University and Manipur Technical University—to promote academic, research, and cultural collaboration. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Tanom Intarakumnerd, Chair of the Suan Dusit University Council, who delivered the opening remarks and highlighted the importance of the collaboration.

The event featured statements from the Indian university representatives, including Professor W. Chandbabu Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Manipur Technical University and Dhanamanjuri University; Mr. Ramananda Nongmeikapam, Registrar of Manipur Technical University; and Dr. R.K. Joteen Singh, Registrar of Dhanamanjuri University, who shared perspectives on the collaboration. Following this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-Net, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations at Suan Dusit University, signed the MoU together with Professor W. Chandbabu Singh, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aunkrisa Sangchumnong, Director of the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration, served as a witness. The ceremony was attended by deans, deputy deans, directors, faculty, staff, and students of Suan Dusit University and took place at the Kumarika Room, Suan Dusit Place Hotel.

The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration in academic excellence, research, and cultural exchange between Thailand and India. It covers multiple areas, including knowledge sharing, joint utilization of resources, organizing academic seminars, and promoting cultural exchange for students and staff. The parties also discussed the potential development of joint curricula in the future to enhance educational quality in line with international standards.
