Suan Dusit University to Co-Host PACCON 2027, Advancing Thailand’s Chemical Sciences
Suan Dusit University, in collaboration with the Department of Science Service, is set to co-host the international academic conference Pure and Applied Chemistry Conference (PACCON 2027), reinforcing Thailand’s role in advancing chemical sciences on a global stage.
The university delegation, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-Nate, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinat Sukonket, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, along with executives, faculty members, staff, and students, participated in the Pure and Applied Chemistry International Conference 2026 (PACCON 2026) under the theme “The Global Future and Chemistry With AI.” The conference was held from February 12–14, 2026, at King Naresuan the Great Exhibition and Convention Center (KNECC), Naresuan University.
Organized by the Chemical Society of Thailand, the event aimed to disseminate knowledge in fundamental and applied research, promote innovation, and strengthen academic collaboration at both national and international levels.
On this occasion, representatives from SDU and the Department of Science Service officially received the hosting flag, marking their role as co-hosts for Pure and Applied Chemistry Conference (PACCON 2027). The upcoming conference is scheduled for February 11–13, 2027, at Centara Life Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana.
Hosting PACCON 2027 represents a significant milestone in promoting Thailand’s chemical science community and enhancing its global academic presence.
