Suan Dusit University, Trang Center, joins forces with four elite schools to sign an MOU, integrating curricula and pioneering the Credit Bank system
On January 27, 2026, at the Fueang Fa Auditorium, Suan Dusit University (Trang Center) hosted a landmark signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This pivotal academic collaboration united SDU Trang Center with a network of four prominent educational institutions: Sikao Pracha Phadungwit School, Huai Nang Rat Bamrung School, Municipal 6 School (Wat Tantayapirom), and Trang Christian Suksa School.
In his welcoming address, Dr. Songsakda Chayanuwat, Director of SDU Trang Center, disclosed that the primary objective of this partnership was to establish an educational network focused on knowledge integration. The collaboration sought to create a seamless continuum between basic and higher education, thereby strengthening the local educational quality in Trang Province through sustainable development.
The significant highlight of this partnership was the development of a curriculum that allowed students to accumulate academic results through a Credit Bank system. This framework enabled the transfer of credits for future undergraduate studies, particularly within the Culinary Technology and Service program, which emphasized future-ready professional competencies.
“The ultimate goal was to cultivate high-quality individuals. This collaboration was intended to provide maximum benefits to learners by preparing them with vocational skills and creating a seamless educational pathway,” Dr. Songsakda stated.
The event saw a full gathering of executives from the partner schools, including Mr. Pongchitphon Kongrod, Director of Sikao Pracha Phadungwit School; Mr. Supasit Kantasutti, Director of Municipal 6 School (Wat Tantayapirom); Mrs. Kannika Lanteng, Director of Trang Christian Suksa School; and Mr. Suriya Sarathip, Director of Huai Nang Rat Bamrung School.
This signing marked the beginning of a strategic alliance aimed at elevating the potential of youth in Trang. It ensured they were equipped with both academic excellence and professional skills to navigate the evolving demands of the future labor market.
