Suan Dusit University, Trang Education Center, created an innovative culinary experience at the academic open house event, “Advancing Academics, Advancing Careers through the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy,” held at Huai Nang Rat Bamrung School.

On February 24, 2026, the Academic Affairs and Registration Division, together with the Public Relations Division, presented a series of highlight menus that captivated visitors throughout the event. The concept combined “local cuisine” with “innovative beverages” in a perfectly balanced pairing.

The highlight of the event was the opportunity to experience the taste of local wisdom through a “Perfect Match” pairing. The famous Trang specialty, “Ready-to-Eat Khao Yok,” a premium food innovation and research product, was showcased as the star menu of the event. It was specially paired with a signature beverage created exclusively to complement the dish: “Butterfly Pea Honey Lime Ginger Fizz,” formulated by Mr. Wisarut Prakopkit.

The vibrant purple beverage blended the refreshing sourness of fresh lime, the natural sweetness of honey, and the spicy fizz of ginger soda. It was specifically designed to cut through the richness of Khao Yok and enhance its flavors perfectly, delivering a refreshing and harmonious experience in every bite.

The booth also featured creative activities and educational opportunities, allowing students to gain hands-on experience through tasting sessions and mixology demonstrations, which attracted great interest and excitement.

In addition to the culinary showcase, the Academic Affairs and Registration team from the Trang Education Center provided comprehensive guidance on continuing education opportunities at Suan Dusit University. Special emphasis was placed on programs in Culinary Technology and Hospitality Services, as well as Pre-Degree and Non-Degree programs that focus on building real careers through practical skills.

Participation in this event reflected a collaborative effort to strengthen academic partnerships between secondary schools and higher education institutions, with the shared goal of advancing local knowledge and vocational skills toward sustainable development in the future.
