Suphan Buri Campus Holds Workshop on Green Community Products and Climate Change
Suan Dusit University, Suphan Buri Campus, held a workshop under the project on developing the supply chain of safe agricultural products from natural resources in Suphan Buri Province.
The workshop was titled “Transforming Community Products toward a Green Economy and Climate Change Awareness.”
Asst.Prof. Dr.Pitauk Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University, opened the workshop and gave a special lecture on Suan Dusit University’s environmental policy and SDGs for sustainability.
Dr.Waranee Vessoontorntep, Vice President for Suphanburi Campus, welcomed the participants and reported on the project objectives.
Ms.Rabiab Poopha, Director of Climate Change Adaptation Division, Department of Climate Change and Environment, gave a lecture on climate change and the shift toward environmentally friendly production and consumption.
The Huaplee Market management team, led by Ms. Nareeratch Uthaisangsakul, Chair of the Saraburi OTOP Network and Chair of the OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community at Huaplee Market, shared ideas on green marketing and commercial opportunities for community products.
Ms. Wanphen Gabkaew, Village Headman of Moo 4, Phai Khwang Subdistrict, gave a lecture on turning waste into value through environmental management and eco-friendly product development.
Mr. Thanakorn Boonklam, researcher and manager of Homkhajorn Farm, presented innovations in product processing from Homkhajorn Farm, Suan Dusit University.
Executives, lecturers, staff, heads of government agencies, members of the Suphan Buri Provincial Farmers Council, and members of the media joined the activity.
The workshop was held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the auditorium, Suan Dusit University, Suphan Buri Campus.
