Suphan Buri Campus Joins Thailand Safe@Work #38 Opening in Nonthaburi
Thailand Safe@Work #38 opened at 8:20 a.m. on June 24, 2026, in Halls 11–12 of IMPACT Exhibition Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi. Suan Dusit University, Suphan Buri Campus, sent personnel to the opening as part of its work on safety, energy use, and SDGs.
The personnel came from the campus Occupational Safety, Health and Working Environment Committee, the Energy Management Working Group, and the SDGs Steering Committee. For the campus, the visit was a chance to gather ideas on safety systems, workplace health, working conditions, and sustainable campus development.
The national event brought together agencies and officers working in labour, safety, and occupational health. It began at 8:20 a.m. with an opening program led by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Minister of Labour, delivered the report. Pol. Lt. Col. Wannapong Kotcharak, Permanent Secretary of Labour, joined the program with executives and officers from the Ministry of Labour.
Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, Director-General of the Department of Employment, also joined the opening as a guest.
For Suan Dusit University, Suphan Buri Campus, the activity helped staff follow new information on workplace safety and working environment management. The knowledge from the event can be applied to safety work and development activities on campus.
