Suphan Buri Campus Participates in the Sacred Worship and State Ceremony Honoring King Naresuan the Great 2026
Suan Dusit University, Suphan Buri Campus, represented by Mr. Parinya Noonurat, Director of the Buildings and Environment Division, participated in the sacred worship and state ceremony honoring King Naresuan the Great for the year 2026. This participation was designated by Dr. Waranee Vessoontorntep, Vice President of Suphan Buri Campus. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Nattapong Sanguanjit, Governor of Suphan Buri Province. The governor led the rites by lighting incense and candles to pay homage, placing garlands on the Royal Sword (Phra Saeng Khongao) and the Royal Elephant’s War Saddle (Phra Khachathan). The event also featured traditional performances dedicated to the Great King, including a cockfighting demonstration, a sword dance, and the Thep Banthoeng dance. Furthermore, the university representative joined heads of government agencies, the Suphan Buri Red Cross Chapter, and various public and private sectors in a formal wreath-laying ceremony, presenting fresh flower trays as a tribute to King Naresuan’s legacy. The event took place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 5:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Cultural Performance Stage and the Don Chedi Memorial Field, Don Chedi District, Suphan Buri Province.
