Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Working Group Reports on Suan Dusit’s Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026 Results and Discusses Preparations for the 2027 Rankings

How’d Suan Dusit do on this year’s sustainability rankings? That was the question on the table when the university’s SDGs Working Group met this week, with Assistant Professor Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-nate — Vice President for Academic and International Affairs — running things.

Short answer: they went through the results from the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026 line by line. But it wasn’t just a scorecard review. People talked about what actually went wrong, or right, while pulling the data together this time around — the bottlenecks, the stuff that surprised them. That conversation fed straight into planning for next year. THE runs its 2027 rankings soon enough, and the group wants better evidence in hand before then, not scrambled together at the last minute.

They wrapped up Tuesday, August 4, 2026, meeting in the University Office Building’s 5th-floor room.
