The “1 + 2 + 1” cooperative educational program for undergraduate education between the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Suan Dusit University, and Guangxi University will continue to search for students with outstanding Chinese abilities – Admission to study programs in 2 countries, receive 2 degrees, win a full scholarship
On Sep3, 2021 – Bachelor of Business Administration, Program in International Business China-ASEAN Business, Faculty of Management Science, Suan Dusit University, meeting with the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) to monitor the implementation of the “1 + 2 + 1” cooperative educational program for undergraduate education after signing the MOU on 29th June 2021 and accepting students in the 1st batch. This Cooperative Program has completed in the academic year 2021; although it has only one month to promote the Cooperative Program, it has received much positive feedback from students with Chinese language proficiency and selected 35 students in Grade 12 to study. After two weeks of online learning, especially Chinese language proficiency, to prepare for next year’s study at Guangxi University. It has been reported that students can adapt quickly to online learning and have an impressive level of language development. In addition, they will undoubtedly be fully prepared to study at the university level in Chinese.
However, the meeting considered implementing the Cooperative Program to select students in the 2nd generation with a resolution to start publicizing the project in November 2021 and open for applications in March 2022 to allow students to have time to prepare. In particular, the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) or Chinese proficiency test before applying for admission into the program.
The “1 + 2 + 1” cooperative educational program for undergraduate education between the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Suan Dusit University, and Guangxi University allows students who are studying in Grade 12 to simultaneously study at the university. They will learn in the Bachelor of Business Administration, Program in International Business China-ASEAN Business, Suan Dusit University (Study Plan 2). Applicants must have proficiency in Chinese at HSK 3 or above and pass the HSK 4 before studying at Guangxi University.
Online classes will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays with Suan Dusit University in the first academic year. In the 2nd and 3rd academic year, students will study at Guangxi University and return to study at Suan Dusit University in the 4th academic year. Students will receive 2 degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration, Program in International Business China-ASEAN Business from Suan Dusit University, and Bachelor of Economics majoring in International Economy and Trade from Guangxi University.
There are also at least three full scholarships at Guangxi University per 50 students and partial scholarships based on HSK scores before study at Guangxi University.
