The Academic Affairs and Registration Division, in collaboration with the Halal Food Business Management Group, organized a creative workshop titled “Ramadan: Dates x Chocolate.”
The Academic Affairs and Registration Division, together with the Halal Food Business Management Group, hosted the “Ramadan: Dates x Chocolate” workshop to invite Muslim students and staff to prepare for the upcoming month of Ramadan (Hijri Year 1447). The event was held at the staff dining room, Suan Dusit Trang Kitchen, on February 19, 2026.
The workshop emphasized the creation of a “Learning Space” by maximizing the use of university facilities. A relaxation and dining area was transformed into an interactive space where participants engaged in hands-on activities, particularly making chocolate-covered dates. Beyond culinary skills, the activity also fostered cultural exchange, sharing, and meaningful preparation for the holy month of fasting.
Special thanks are extended to the Trang Provincial Islamic Committee Office for their financial support, recognizing the importance of promoting religious and cultural activities, and encouraging educational institutions to serve as hubs that connect Muslim lifestyles with modern learning.
The atmosphere of the event—aptly described as “Sweet Moments with Dates for Ramadan”—was filled with joy, smiles, and collaboration, as participants created thoughtful gifts to welcome the upcoming sacred month.
Suan Dusit University, Trang Campus, remains committed to continuously developing learning spaces that support diverse activities and enhance holistic skills for its academic community.
