The Education and Career Guidance Center Hosts “SDU Alumni Power Talk #3: From Training Kitchen to Real-World Kitchen—Turning Dreams into Future Careers” to Inspire Pathways in the Culinary and Service Industries

The Education and Career Guidance Center, in collaboration with Suan Dusit Poll and the Student Development Division of Suan Dusit University, organized the SDU Alumni Power Talk: Conversations and Reflections with Alumni, Session 3, titled “From Training Kitchen to Real-World Kitchen: Turning Dreams into the Future” on Friday, 28 November 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event was held in the 5th-floor meeting room of the University Office Building and attracted a large number of interested students and staff, both on-site and online via ZOOM.The session featured Ms. Duangporn Sukjam, a distinguished alumna who had achieved notable success in the culinary and hospitality field. She shared her real-world professional experiences—from her beginnings in the “training kitchen” to her work in the hotel and service industries—along with essential skills, self-development strategies, and practical guidance for preparing to enter the workforce as a professional.The SDU Alumni Power Talk project aimed to create a space for knowledge exchange between alumni and students, inspire career motivation, and enhance professional capability through real-life experiences from successful graduates. This session served as a valuable opportunity for students to gain a clearer picture of potential career pathways and apply the insights to their studies and future work.Suan Dusit University expressed its appreciation to the speaker and all participants for contributing to this meaningful learning experience.
