The Office of Special Affairs, Suan Dusit University, organized the 1st knowledge-sharing session on “Food Service for Children with Food Allergies.”
The Office of Special Affairs at Suan Dusit University hosted a knowledge exchange activity on food service for children with food allergies. The event aimed to provide a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices in managing safe and appropriate meals for children with food allergies, ultimately enhancing food safety standards in educational institutions and promoting sustainable well-being.
Dr. Suthan Mumdang, Director of the Office of Special Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered welcoming remarks. The session featured Dr. Swaminee Nuan-Kaew, R&D and Innovation Manager at Thai Roong Ruang Industry Co., Ltd., as the guest speaker. She delivered a talk on the topic “Food Allergies in Schools = Safety for Every Child.”
Participants were encouraged to engage in discussions, share experiences, and reflect on challenges, obstacles, and practical solutions in real-world operations. At the end of the session, Dr. Passanan Yamchamphrai, Project Manager of School Lunch Program 1 (Suan Dusit Kitchen), summarized key takeaways and translated them into actionable practices.
The event was held on February 20, 2026, at Suan Dusit Kitchen Meeting Room (Kitchen 12), Suan Dusit University, and was also conducted online via Zoom.
