The School of Culinary Arts, Suan Dusit University, Signs a Cooperation Agreement with World City Links, United Kingdom, to Enhance International Academic Collaboration

The School of Culinary Arts at Suan Dusit University formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with World City Links, United Kingdom, to elevate international academic cooperation and promote Thai culinary heritage globally. This partnership focused on providing Thai culinary and cultural training for educators, students, and interested individuals from the UK. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-nate, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs at Suan Dusit University, who signed the agreement alongside Mr. Julian Vennis, Director of World City Links International Partnerships. The signing was witnessed by Asst.Prof. Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Thanapat Saengrungrueang, Dean of the School of Culinary Arts, and Mr. Trevor Hunter from World City Links. Executives, faculty members, and participants from both organizations also attended the event at the International Culinary School, Suan Dusit University, on Monday, January 12, 2026. Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-nate stated that this collaboration between Suan Dusit University and World City Links had been an ongoing initiative since 2013. To date, the program has successfully conducted over 20 sessions, training more than 500 participants. The primary objectives were to disseminate knowledge regarding Thailand’s culinary heritage and to enhance the practical skills of UK educators and students. This initiative served as a significant opportunity to foster international relations and mutual understanding through shared culinary experiences. Suan Dusit University remained steadfast in its commitment to preserving and promoting the authentic identity and diversity of Thai culture on a global stage.
